Monster Island 2019, the Asylum's mockbuster was released at the exact same time as Godzilla King of the Monsters. Monster Island is the story of an island that may contain a monster.


This asylum movie is budgeted at the cost of a big kid's lunch. To maximize its use, it focuses only on a few actors and records all (review) sequences on one set. The Asylum might not do a terrible job considering this is a kaiju movie.
